Dr. Esma Kuriş Baştan
I have been practicing my profession with passion for many years at a private dental clinic in Caddebostan, Istanbul, of which I am a co-founder. After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2000, my journey toward specialization led me to New York. Between 2004 and 2006, I completed my orthodontic training at the New York University College of Dentistry. During this time, I focused on clear aligners (Align Technology – Invisalign), lingual systems (Lingual Liberty), self-ligating brackets (GAC’s In-Ovation®), and orthognathic surgery. In 2005, I earned my certification as an Invisalign provider from NYU.
Following my studies, I worked as an orthodontist between 2006 and 2008 at the private clinic of Dr. Yon Lai, a faculty member at NYU, located in Manhattan, New York. Since 2009, I have been seeing patients at my private practice in Istanbul. I am a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), and the European Aligner Society (EAS).
