For years, I’ve been practicing orthodontics with deep commitment at the private clinic I co-founded in Kadıköy, Istanbul. Every smile I help shape is part of a bigger mission: empowering individuals to feel more confident, comfortable, and connected in their everyday lives.
From Istanbul to New York
After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2000, my journey took me to New York. At New York University (2004–2006), I specialized in orthodontics, where I received hands-on training in:
- Clear aligners (Invisalign – Align Technology)
- Lingual systems (Lingual Liberty)
- Self-ligating brackets (GAC’s In-Ovation®)
- Orthognathic surgery
I proudly became an Invisalign-certified provider in 2005.
Manhattan, New York
From 2006 to 2008, I worked as an orthodontist in Dr. Yon Lai’s private clinic in Manhattan, one of NYU’s leading faculty members.
This experience allowed me to expand my perspective and refine my clinical approach, working alongside top professionals in the heart of New York City.
Learning never stops.
I completed the Laser Applications Mastership Program at RWTH Aachen University, which allows me to offer laser-assisted treatments as part of my daily clinical care—minimally invasive, effective, and patient-friendly.
I earned my PhD in Orthodontics at Bezmialem Vakıf University, with the thesis where I studied the effects of mini-plates designed for orthodontic anchorage (MBA) on tooth movement.
Today, I’m an active member of FACE Academy Turkey, where I focused on neuromuscular approaches to jaw joint disorders, and my professional interests include:
- Functional jaw orthopedics
- TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) dysfunction
- Adult orthognathic surgery
Each treatment plan is tailored with precision, aiming not only for aesthetics, but harmony and function.
